The Exchange Diet is a unique diet that les you choose the foods that you want to eat based on the well known six food groups. The idea is that you focus on portion sizes rather than giving up all the foods that you love. When you start a new diet it can be difficult to adjust but he Exchange Diet is not overly hard to adapt to in comparison to other more restrictive diets. Once you are accustomed to the portion sizes and food substitutions you will find the diet easy to stick to.

Until this date the reason to cause diabetes is still unknown. We can certainly define risk factors that increase the likelihood of being diagnosed with the condition. The most important risk factor that you can control is your weight. If you are overweight you need to lose weight, it’s the best you can do for your health and the prevention of diabetes. Even if it’s a little at a time, every pound you lose increases your health benefits.
