Long Term Dangers Associated with Diabetes

There are some hidden dangers that are associated with the health condition known as diabetes that begin in the body long before an individual is diagnosed. These will continue to become worse over time, and can even become deadly if a person does not take the proper steps to control the complications that have been know to occur in diabetic patients. Statistically, there are numerous diabetic individuals that live approximately 10 years shorter than individuals that do not have this condition. Many times this is due to diabetic patients not knowing about or understanding the hidden dangers and complications that can occur when an individual has this type of serious condition.
